Heda, Willem Claesz Willem Claeszoon Heda (December 14, 1594, Haarlem - c. 1680, Haarlem) was one of the earliest Dutch Golden Age artists devoted exclusively to the painting of still lifes. He was the son of the Haarlem city architect Claes Pietersz. His mother Anna Claesdr was a member of the Heda family. His uncle was the painter Cornelis Claesz Heda. He became a member of the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke in 1631.
